Great short! *and thanks for the size rating info. Even if not the same, it gives a bit of confidence in where to start looking! I use a shaving brush that I found a bit harsh for my face for eraser shavings.. LOL, I don't have any makeup brushes.. *grin

My most used brushes are my pointed round brushes usually a size 12

Yes those are the same 10 kinds of brushes that I use daily for watercolor painting. I also have a special thin brush in addition to a ruling pen/special paint pen for my masking fluid.

Thanks, Michelle. Would you please let us know the sizes of the round brushes you use the most?
I'm going to treat myself and buy several kolinsky sable brushes. I can't decide which sizes will be the most useful since I can only afford a few.

Is there many uses for a Quill style brush? Will a round brush give you the same performance? Just a beginner thinking about investing in better brushes.
