When Animal House came out I was in a fraternity. We all viewed it in the Administration Building auditorium at Clarkson College. Sharing that movie with my fraternity brothers at that time was priceless.

Too much, too fast, too young. What a shame. Belushi will live on in our hearts. Thanks for the kind words, Tim. We still think fondly of you, sir.

Those years were a magical time. SNL, Spielberg, Star Wars. Incredible, culture changing entertainment.

My dad loved the movie, along with The Blues Brothers( and another without Belushi, Blazing Saddles)

I still LOL every time I see the scene of Otter (Tim Matheson), in the store produce section when he meets Dean Wormer's wife, not realizing it's her, and hits on her with the bigger cucumber line. It is so hilarious, to me anyway. I attended the U of O in the seventies and ate many a lunch in the Erb Memorial Union cafeteria where Belushi improvised the food stuffing/eating scene. "See if you can guess what I a zit, get it?" HA. 😆

You could fill a book with all of the TV and movie rolls Tim has done over the years!...I remember, as a kid in the 60's, seeing him on Leave it to Beaver and My
Three Sons, among other things!...He's definitely been around for awhile!...Still love watching Animal House and 1941, the most!...Just sayin'!

I saw Animal House in the movie theater when i was 11 years old. It was the greatest night. My friend’s dad took us and he didn’t know what it was about, he just took us and since it had an R rating he thought he would sit with us, 5 of us total…..and it had nudity, language and everything but it was so funny that my friend’s dad loved it. He just said to us kids, You guys got to promise me you won’t tell your mother. Oh we were like no way! 😆…..And then everybody just sat back and enjoyed the movie, it was so good.

In 1972, while a freshman in college, I pledged to be in a Social Club. A hazing of pledges involved standing on a chair facing the cafeteria and slurping a plate of Jello. Boy did I get a kick when Belushi did the same in Animal House. I also remember w
