Disclaimer: @sterlingpacific I received the luggage set as a gift for reviewing purposes, and I provided my honest feedback. Sterling Pacific did not have any control over the contents of my review, and I did not receive any payment for it.

[Update] After posting this video this is the response from the Sterling Pacific team:

"Hi Max,

We sincerely apologize for the damage to your 80L bag during your trip.
While it’s true that our typical customers fly business, first, private or even pilot the plane themselves, we want to share with your audience that this is not the normal experience even in economy.

If any Customer encounters such an issue on any trip, we always encourage them to contact us directly. Our team takes pride in providing world class Customer Service.
We will gladly assist in filing a form with the airline, and our Lifetime Warranty and Service Promise ensure that repairs or replacement will be covered at our Reno service centre or one of our 35+ worldwide retail partners.

Our Team truly appreciates your feedback as we believe that criticism holds more value than compliments.
Rest assured, we are consistently striving to enhance the quality of our bags with each new batch we produce.

Thank you for sharing your honest review."

I was pretty excited after seeing an ad for this but I’ve never seen a review do so much damage to a product lol. Thanks for saving us!

I use and love trunk style 4 wheelers. 2 wheels is definitely a no. For pricy luggage, they should include neoprene luggage covers. It will protect against scratches but not necessarily dents.

Integrity is lacking these days so I appreciate that your reviews are so honest. Keep it up.

I appreciate your review. The damage on the checked bag makes them a no for me. It’s a shame because they look pretty cool and I prefer a trunk style.

Great video Max!!! I think the other con is it's loud when you're roller it, but anyhow, that's too expensive for me, lol, thanks Max!!!

Good honest review! That is not a good product for the typical everyday basic travel needs, its made for fashion or private plane travel.

What an honest and thoughtful review. I love the look of the bags, but the damage sustained on just the one trip makes it a no, especially for the price. Not having 4 wheels is a no as well. Some of the comments below talk about two wheels are better in some cases for ease of rolling. I think they forget that a four wheel can be rolled just like a two wheel if necessary. Such a shame the product does not live up to its looks.

Good review. One reason I think Sterling Pacific has two wheels is so it works regardless of what kind of street you are walking on. For example, it was nearly impossible to use my Rimowa multi-wheel carryon in Rome and Naples, but a two-wheel Sterling Pacific would work great. Four wheel aluminum luggage just bends its frame SO easily.

Thanks for your review. This is a definite CON for me. They're too expensive and heavy. We are carry-on only travelers. Hence, we wanted the lightest possible - Hartman Global carry-on is 4.6lb. That's right 4.6 lbs.

I really loved how this bag open and closed but for $2000 that is a lot of damage. I would be really irritated.

Wow! Good review. Will not be getting either. Did you return either or both?

I feel like the 35L or carry-on size is the only one worth it because it's handled by the customer. I really like the hinges and trunk-style

Nice video. You have to accept that anything can and will happen to luggage when checking it in.

Thanks for the honest Review...Just what I thought ..The Carry on should be a big plus ..4 Rollers should be good compared to 2 Rollers. I worked for the airline couple of years back. The Automated conveyor belt on most big Airports will definitely give the luggage a test. To sort your luggage to be drop to your airline Conveyor belt is like slamming it..The sorter would just extend the metal arm on a fast conveyor belt.. .Choosing between the Sterling and Rimowa. Id chose Sterling base on your review...Thanks
