I don't own it yet but I'd recommend the H7 over the Epiphone .. having Larry's name on it will make it somewhat collectable down the road .. I hope to have one in a few months

My H7 did not come with a case, so I bought the Epiphone 335 case for $129.00 & free shipping. It fits nicely inside.

Got my Larry Carlton Sire H7 yesterday. Came in a cardboard box & bubble wrap, no case! Tuned it up, played it for 3 hours. Intonation was good, action was acceptable, it is the best setup of a new guitar that I ever owned! Pickups are very good, and all of this for $599.00!!!! I have 8 Gibsons and 3 Fenders, and all of them required a setup from my tech, Sammy Sanchez. I ordered an Epiphone case from GC ($129.00 free shipping) I will let you know how it fits the Sire.

Just bought this guitar. I love it for tone, playability and looks, etc. A couple of points - it's REALLY heavy, surprisingly so, but that just adds to the sustain and quality of tone no doubt. The other thing is the 40mmm nut width - that's VERY narrow, and you definitely notice, it's about as narrow as it goes. I got used to it quickly - and even like it, but if you have large hands you might look elsewhere or try first, it gets crowded down there on the fingers quickly.

Just brought back the Ibanez as153...lacked soul and too many dead spots on the upper part of the neck. Went home with a red h7 that really gave me what I missed in the Ibanez. The as153 guitars are great but every single one is different they are beatiful to see but my guitars are workhorses and no exhibition pieces.

Great demo. Do you notice any of the “ebony” rubbing off on your fingers after playing? It’s been reported the fretboards are stained..
