It was very windy for the Tirreno-Adriatico today, but they held it. Given the difficulties riders encountered, they probably should not have.

Those winds are crazy, i once did a ride at like 40 km/h winds and it was miserable. Crosswinds feel like they sweep the bike out from under your ass, especially with deeper rims.

Good decision, no need to risk and crash, my only question, why not to race the stage 6 as planes next day, why to cancel it completely… not sure about that, anyone can explain that to me?

Maybe tomorrow they can cancel the stage because the gradients are too steep. Maybe cancel Roubaix because the road surfaces are bad in many sectors? This sport is going soft - sad indeed.
