Set up TPG 5G Home Broadband – Sagemcom 5G Modem

How to set up a TPG 5G Home Broadband connection using a Sagemcom 5G Modem.

Getting 5mbps rather than the promised 100mbps. I was expecting 4 times faster than my previous plan, not 5 times slower.

Modem firmware has bugs and hangs easily. The admin can do very little. I'm still finding a way to disable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network because periodically the DHCP renews or the stack is full, then all smart home devices lost connection because the 5GHz Wi-Fi disturbs the connection. I called TPG and their support staff said they didn't have the technical skills. I checked the Sagemcom 5G Modem support in France, and they said there's a firmware bug and a new firmware is available but only release upon request by the supplier, i.e. TPG in my case. So far, TPG has not responded to my request. The modem security is worrying and I can't control the firewall. I cannot find any technical manual like what other modem providers do.
