The Red Arrows have performed a fly-past at Niagara Falls as part of their tour of Canada.

The five-week tour marks the centenary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Susannah Goshko, the UK’s high commissioner to Canada, said: “It’s fantastic that on the 100th anniversary of the RCAF, the Red Arrows have chosen to come to Canada to celebrate our shared military ties.”

I heard an aeronautical anomaly overhead yesterday afternoon near Buffalo. So that's what it was.

Pity they weren’t supporting British taxpayers at the summer air shows- could have celebrated RCAF Centenary May/June or late September/early October!

The royal family sure has a lot of royal things and people planted all over the globe. They really should focus on their own countries crime and homelessness.

Subsonic trainer aircraft are so wimpy (i.e., British) for a flight demonstration team. The Red Arrows and Snowbirds are neither the Blue Angels nor the Thunderbirds. Honorable mention also goes to the Russian Knights, Patrouille Suisse and Russian Falcons. The RAF Blue Diamonds and Black Arrows were also very good, but they were replaced by the Red Arrows as part of the downsizing and cost-cutting measures in the UK military of the 1960s. Ditto for Iran’s Golden Crown team whose pilots and technicians were executed in the 1979 Iranian Revolution.
