SONY did mention that comfort and size will be very important for next gen VR.I think It would look more like a big pair of glasses with nothing going on top of your head.I love VR but I hate the feel of wearing a helmet on my head.A form factor like the HTC Flow will be great.

Nice video but i wouldn't get my hopes up for it to be compatible with Steam or Epic store. PSVR 2 will sell people in on the PS5 and the PS+ subscription

The fact that this concept has an XR label means it should be capable of more than just VR IF $ony were even to consider making such a device, but also Augmented, Mixed/Merged, etc, which said experiences wold be great for mobile eliminating the need for the tablet experience. I remember a demo that basically did real time overlay scanning for just the sort of thing to creat environments or parts of them. Just maybe needs sort of a clippable and/or pocket friendly mini/Micro console as opposed to being smart phone/tablet dependent because they heat up rather quickly and parts are just too close together inside as a result. VR for the most you kind of always need to stay stationary, the rest you have free movement and viewing everything around you.

Par contre je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de remarquer que tu n'as pas mentionné de connexion non filaire entre le casque et la console. Est-ce que c'est parce que ça te semble trop improbable qu'une telle feature soit intégrée dans le prochain PSVR? À moins que la version standalone ne puisse se connecter à la console (ainsi qu'à un PC?) via Wi-Fi6, auquel cas c'est juste moi qui n'ai pas bien compris...🤔

Trop bien :) J'ai peut-être mal vu mais il faudrait je pense des caméras carrément en dessous (et pas seulement en bas sur les côtés, même fish-eye) car c'est le gros point faible du tracking inside-out. Surtout pour un aim controller 2. En tout cas j'adore les concept trailers de la chaîne et les reportages ultra pertinents.

I love the look of the VR unit. And it is nice to see that there is only 1 cable. I would like to see what the life span of the unit will be as well as the battery. There is one thing about the unit that I see as a problem. The controller drift that no one wants to fix across many platforms and years.
