does mars have rings

According to studies, Mars once had rings, which will reappear in the future. The red planet currently lacks rings, but it is orbited by two natural satellites: Deimos and Phobos. NASA's extensive observations have revealed that Phobos, the larger of the two moons, is getting closer to Mars at a rate of 1.8 meters (6 feet) every 100 years. As a result, at some point, the moon will approach Mars very closely. The Martian gravity will tear it apart. This will disperse the ripped-off pieces of Phobos into space, eventually locking them in a ring around the planet. According to studies, this will occur within the next 20 to 40 million years, with the new ring system lasting up to 100 million years. For more interesting videos of cosmos follow deep in space.
