Brighter than OLED and no burn-in worries. Win in my book!

What about QA? Do you have dead pixels? Are they common? Are there issues with the panel detaching from the monitor (this previously was an issue with Odyssey monitors). Please let me know if you somehow find out about it.

I bought this monitor for gaming and WFH. Didn't want to go for oled due to the WFH part. Too much risk of burn in. It's been great for both. And I do game on it competitively and it has been going great, but that's because I have the proper hardware to run stuff at 4k @ 240fps. The responsetimes are amazing when you turn off adaptive sync. Which to be fair you're not going to need anyway at these kinds of high framerates.

7:34 This isn't true. Hardware Unboxed got 2.5 ms while using VRR on this monitor, and HUB is known as one of the best when it comes to monitor reviews.

Hey Rohan, Thanks for doing this video. I am in the process of deciding between this 4K 32" monitor and a 1440p OLED 34" monitor. The other monitor I am looking at is the Alienware AW3423DWF 34" LED with a display resolution of 3440 x 1440. They are both curved. I will be using if for home productivity and gaming. I have been using a curved monitor for the past three years and I really like it. I'm not doing competitive gaming, just things like Doom Eternal, Tome Raider series, Spiderman etc.

My question for you is, in your opinion, would it be better - say for the next 5 years, to go with an OLED with vibrant colors and a wide but shorter screen or go with a 4K with really good colors and a boxier screen? BTW, you are so right about the stand . . . come on Samsung! (not a deal breaker for me).

I have this monitor and I quite enjoy it. No dead pixels. Super bright with great contrast. I've heard issues of scan lines but my unit seems to be fine. Sometimes I feel like I can barely see them... but it's only specific shades of color... and I never notice it in gaming or video content. I quite enjoy the 12 Bit Color, 240Hz, and 2000 Nits peak brightness... even though it is probably more like 1400 Nits.

How about color accuracy for video and photo editing?

I had the 49" G9 and the cheap white plastic wobble is a lot worse with that size of a screen. It ended up being the reason I dont have that giant thing any more. Samsung is very very picky about internal scratches. Anyways, I am considering this but it feels so gimmicky and dated. Gaming doesn't have to be clunky and glowing. I want the pro monitor aesthetics (often aimed at Mac designers) but with the gaming 4k refresh rates. It's kind of a bummer trying to decide as my Acer shorts out randomly during my quest. Good vib, +sub

Congrats for the video. I don't know whether to get the Neo G8 or Neo G7. I heard that the Neo G8 has a matte screen which I hate, is that true?
