If you get the "serial number" error, it's because your iphone was bought after iOS 5 release. You can't downgrade to iOS 4 but iOS 5 and up will work perfectly

Every thing worked but after restoring complete, phone shows apple logo (ios4) and goes straight to itunes logo.
