We have some good specialist it seems...Wesley to hound guards, Bassey to bang with big centers, Collins to muscle the slim centers, Branham when we need scoring, and Mamu when passing ball movement is stuck.

Exactly what i expected. I was even telling my wife that paul may come to San Antonio before anything was announced. Starting line up would be Paul, Castle, Barnes, Penny, and Wemby. Closing games i would add Vassell and take out Penny.

If we continue with that 5 and Sochan and Vassell are fully integrated again and we have a team that can make a major upset as a play in team. Mitch Johnson also has reinvigorated this team.

With all players coming back from injury, for sure the starting lineup will be : CP3 - Vassel - Barnes - Sochan - Wemby.
This means that the second unit would be : Jones - Castle - Johnson - ?? - ??
It could be interesting to try Collins as PF. His shooting skills are very good this year but defensively he can't protect the rim. The center spot would then be Bassey.
Champagnie can integrate any lineup as he can play from 2 to 4 bringing defense and spacing.

Malaki and Wesley should see their playing minutes to be drastically reduced. And it is better this way...

This is what I've been saying. The Spurs by the numbers are one of the best starting lineups in the NBA and have been since January last season going back to the Tre Jones - Wemby lineup. the problem is we have damn near the worst bench (literally the worst last year) in the NBA. We need positive role players off the bench more than anything else.
