For people who want an explanation:


Starscourge Radahn uses Leonard as a marker as to where Radahn would land during his meteor. Leanord is always marked below the ground under the tarnished so there was no problems with the landing.
For Consort Radahn however, he doesn't have a marker. Since there's nothing to mark under the tarnished, the devs had to use a weird tracker which funnily enough follows the Y position of the player. Meaning if you stay in the air with dragon communion spells or by just jumping, radahn will target you while you're in the air and will just fall and completely cancel the meteor attack.

No Leonard nerfed Radahn lol.
