He would be a great fit in the Nuggets system

We've seen some flashes of his greatness in some games especially during IST, they just need to incorporate him to the system like the 3rd or 4th option, cause he's very good and intelligent player for real

I think a big reason that smaller European guards haven't succeeded is that they tend to play like more traditional point guards and lack the scoring punch required from heavy ball-handling guards in the modern NBA. When Campazzo played on Denver teams guarding him on pick and rolls would go under the screen and dare him to shoot pull-up jumpshots everytime, which he was always very hesitant to do. Teosic was a better three point shooter from what I remember but that's definitely why Campazzo didn't last.

Edit: I'm aware Vezenkov is a wing player I'm just referring to the other European players who didn't pan out mentioned in the video

The Kings are stacked at the 4, which leaves very limited minutes for Vezenkov to prove his talents.

It’s sad because Vezenkov can shoot the lights out and be a great off ball scorer because he excels at moving without the ball and cutting to the basket. Hopefully he either gets more minutes moving forward or treated to a team who will use him enough

I don't think Vezenkov is failing; he's adjusting. The NBA is a faster game than the Euroleague and Sasha has commented on this several times. Also, his teammates are still learning how to utilize his talents because he can definitely shoot. However, he's a bit slow-footed and not a great defender, but once he learns Mike Brown's defensive scheme, you can tell he has a high BB IQ on the floor and he'll be fine on the defensive end. Likewise, there are many times teammates don't see him cutting to the cup or miss those simple plays off a screen that you showed here. They don't know what he is doing and you can see him explaining this to Sabonis or Fox. I think this year is a grace period for him to learn and build chemistry with his new teammates, and then I expect him to explode next year and be ready for a bigger role IMO. He's not acclimating and adjusting because coming to a new country, culture, team, and a new game is not easy for anyone. He'll be a great player by next year!

Because he is on the wrong team. Kings are stacked at the 4 position and they are a playoff team. They won't give him enough playing time, so they honestly took him from Olympiacos just for him to ride the bench. What a sad outcome for such an amazing player.

I wouldn't say he is failing, it's just the Kings are stacked

Come time with the trades in the deadline and he could get more playing time

Because olympiacos coach helped him while kings coach is blind.

Can you please not clickbait videos for attention thank you. You didn't one time talk about his stats or him failing. Great euro league video but this has nothing to do with the person your talking about. Please don't click bait

As a fellow Bulgarian 🇧🇬 I hope Sasha Vezenkov gets more minutes and a chance to shine. The Kings aren’t giving him enough minutes so it’s impossible for him to get into a rhythm. Mike Brown is doing a bad job with Sasha, FREE HIM 🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬

That foul draw at 2:42 is insane 🤣. I’m so glad they got rid of that in the NBA

I don’t understand WHY WE DONT GIVE HIM MINUTES. The super close in season tournament game we won because of him and his defense. WHY DO WE PLAY BARNES OVER HIM?? Sure he’s not as athletic, but he’s smart, can shoot, and has good defense. His defense in that warriors in season tournament 4th quarter was so good

He’s not playing bad the kings just aren’t using him right nor is he getting much opportunity

He would be a great fit for Houston Rockets. This guy doesnt need dribble. He just needs a good passer big guy like Alpi.He has great cuts and a great spot up shooter.

Last year Sasha had a def. rating fs 109.5, playing for the 2nd best defense in the EL. He also averaged 70% in the paint on 5.6 attempts, which is just unreal, playing against tough, tight EL defences. I guess he is somehow doesn't quite fit in the individualistic NBA game? I don't know, I don't care, I just want him back

Good vid but you did Kemba dirty bruh 😂 Man is on the last leg of his career, in his prime he would've dominated Euro league.

Euro league built on passing and cutting. NBA wings are corner standers in this league

If he can't get time as a 4, Brown would be smart to implement Veze as a 3 & let him feed off of Fox & Sabonis Kickouts, I haven't watched enough Kings ball to see how they usually deploy him & rotations though..
