Picking the right PTE Test Centre is Important

A bad PTE Test Centre can lead to bad scores. The PTE exam is complicated enough especially in the speaking module. You need to know which PTE Test Centre is good in your area. You do not want to be distracted during the time where you need to concentrate the most. One PTE Test Centre will not be the same to the other. They do not enforce the same rules. Be aware of the things that can distract you while you are taking your PTE exam.

I met the same issue. I was doing the Speaking read aloud question 3, I just put on my earplug in order to minimise some noise, and the administrator suddenly tapped my shoulder, and she told me that I cannot use the earplug until writing and reading session. I have no time arguing with her, I just immediately took down my earplug. WTF man, there are no rules about when should I use the earplug, but she just interrupted me in amazement. I reported this issue to PTE concern team, but no response. It is so rude to interrupt a candidate during the test, especially in an international examination. By the way, your videos are fabulous, really useful and helpful, like the way you speak, like a rapper. Haha, peace.

You are definitely right, I have been disturbed three times by the staff who said me speak too loud, indeed, it was just because when I was speaking other Indian candidates are in the 25 seconds preparation. When all of them speak aloud, the staff do nothing!

Exactly same thing happened to me in Melbourne, Box hill centre. The staff instructed us not to speak loud, if found speaking loud they will remind once and if still continue to do so, they would cancel the exam. This instruction already demotivated me, and during the speaking time they tap my shoulder and asked to speak slow. Now I get nervous thinking that they could cancel my exam. Then I started speaking slowly.
I was struggling to get 79+ on listening and writing, where I had got 80+ on speaking and reading twice. This time what happened is I couldn’t even get 70 on speaking.
The worst experience ever. I suggest not to book for Boxhill centre. Rather, I find Preston center more cool in Melbourne.

Amazing tips and tricks mate. I did a couple of tries and weren't getting the scores I needed, but after following your tips, took an attempt and got 70+ in each module. Thanks mate

Deym same thing happened to me. All 80++ except speaking coz i took their advise to speak softly and not too loud. (Singapore)

You are so right, oh they come to you and keep disturbing until you fail speaking… it’s happened to me twice I even lost my temper once I got only 75 and upsetting that it’s affect your entire exam I wish this pte ppl do something abt it….

The other are totally opposite. They don't care wherether the candidates are shouting or sleeping. I miss my point my listening because there was a guy beside me shouting for the read aloud while I m doing RS. I thought he was sleeping while everyone was doing the mic test and RL. BTW the center we called 333 which is it in the Brisbane City.

They really don’t know shit!!! I got 65+ on my 2nd attempt easily. So I aimed for 79+ for my next. I am pretty confident on my speaking. I practiced rigorously for a month to get prepared for the 3rd.

Third attempt I didn’t improved, rather got a fucking 10 on pronuntiation!!! Why? Because the "person" pat me on my shoulder during repeat sentence and I fucked up a couple of RS and because of it I was affected the whole Speaking section. Result 3 sections 70s Speaking 50!!!

Fourth time, the same shit happend, this time was hand gestures. The person warn me to lower my voice and I was naive enough to listen! Result L&W 80s!!! But R&S 70s!!!

5th and last attempt I just ignored them, the person warn me twice. I kept my shit together, do what I felt right! In my defense I wasn’t even loud! Even in the listening section the "you know who" came to warn me again, this time saying my headphones were too loud!(I was cursing in my mother tongue in my head)Like what da f***! I still ignored them. (thank Jesus it was during highlight incorrect summary not WFD) Result 3 80s! Speaking 90!!!

I did everything the same from my 2 attempt. I should have gotten the scores on the third time! They really don’t know shit!!!
