In this video we check out the Beelink SEI14 mini PC featuring Intel's Core Ultra 5 125H CPU. The case is the same, the ports are the same, but the processor has changed brands and this makes a significant difference to its results and how it compares to the Beelink SER8. We check out the SEI14 in-depth to see how it holds up.

I just checked and Beelink seems to be one of the few who actually release BIOS updates. Even more important for any Intel 13/14th Gen system since they will all fail otherwise 🎉

The airflow design on these is brilliant, although it makes it a lot harder to fully strip down. I'll probably get the AMD version eventually.

Do you have your charts for viewing like in Google drive or some other shareable link?

Why has idle power draw gone up so high on these Beelink models? (this one and SER8). It's nearly double the idle power draw vs. the very similar SER7/7840HS (when comparing SER8).

Thanks for the review. Did you say the HDMI port was 4k/120hz does that mean 2.1 FRL spec?

There is a tiny difference with the USB-C ports on the back, according to Beelink. They appear to be identical, but apparently the SER8's is USB4 while the SEi14's is Thunderbolt 4. Are those the same?

Which one do you think is better? Intel version or AMD version? I need to open many of heavy-processing web page in the same time.

In the future can you include power draw when playing 4k60 or 8k60 videos?

The intel chipset comes with a i226-v in this case; Beelink always seems to advertise the capabilities of the chipset, and things like an Intel branded NIC; when a model does not have Intel network adapters, Beelink does not seem to advertise the NIC other than saying 2.5G. Beelink does not see Realtek as a premium brand, thus it's almost never mentioned in advertising, especially with the network interfaces. Beelink sees the Intel as being premium, thus a higher cost associated with the particular model.
Overall, most will be better off with the Ryzen series, especially even at the higher/highest cost models.. Better performance and still easier on the wallet.

So, the only advantage it has over SER8 is a little bit less maximum wattage usage. But everything else (including prices) is worse. Amazing.... TRASH! Thank you for the review!

Btw, could you add more CPU based apps (not games)? I think it would make the benchmarks better.
