On Thursday, September 19, 2024, at approximately 4:37 p.m., a 30-year-old male called San Diego Police reporting that his mother was having a mental breakdown and threatened him with a butter knife. The location of the radio call was an apartment in the 7300 block of Mesa College Drive where they both reside. Officers from Northern Division responded and contacted the mother.
