Part 4: Single Photon Counting - Kinetic Mode

Показать описание
Part 4 of Edinburgh Instruments webinar: Disentangling Fluorescence & Phosphorescence using FLS1000 Photoluminescence Spectrometer.
Many next-generation materials exhibit complex photoluminescence kinetics, with multiple spectrally overlapping emission processes occurring on dramatically different timescales – from picosecond fluorescence to afterglow lasting hours. In this webinar the range of acquisition techniques available in the FLS1000 Photoluminescence Spectrometer for measuring emission on different timescales are explained and the pros and cons of each technique discussed. Advanced techniques and accessories for separating overlapping fluorescence and phosphorescence spectra including detector time-gating, temperature maps in cryostats, and variable pulse length laser sources are then introduced.
