This goes out to Aaron - WMmaster626! I haven't posted a WM video in a minute... so I figured its time for one. Out OTR with my buddy Chris. I decided to check out Chino Hills, and see what trucks operated in the area. This area shares a split contract with Recology & WM. So there was a grip of NorCal Waste Systems Toter's, and all of these Valley Waste Management wheelies! For a cart enthusiasts! This is a great place to film! I didn't see what Recology runs here, I assume Autocar Xpeditor Heil Pythons, maybe older Volvo Xpeditor 7000's or Rapid Rails. How ever, walking around taking pics of the carts, I heard this WM Split Rapid Rail. Even tho it just collects recycling. Then later I heard a Volvo Xpeditor Wittke Starlight, that drove by. Likely doing commercial around the area. Shortly after, was this Condor Python. I have always enjoyed the Condor Python combo. So of course got some footage. Thank you to the friendly exceptional drivers who made the video possible! Also, my apologizes about the lighting.... the sun was not on my side that day... haha. Enjoy! Comments are always welcomed!

We have a WM Split Rapid Rail here in Ukiah Ca! Filmed it a couple days ago. Except it’s 103206. Looks almost exactly the same tho.

Thanks for the video! Awesome trucks; been wondering where Valley WM's old trucks were sent to after they lost Contra Costa. That Python was awesome! Sucks that they replaced all the old carts now that they franchised the city. But still some great finds! Great job!

How did they got a Split Rapid Rail? They don't even make those anymore since like 2010 I think.

I see u were up in my neck of the woods david! chico had some amazing old carts but not only did the city franchise, but so did the whole county. and u r right. chico yard got a few trucks from co co county when VWM shut down. VWM was the yard I started working for wm at when I was 18. I don't know why they use a split rr on only trash. since basic service in chico is trash and recycle (yard waste is extra charge), they could get the whole route done with both commodities with 1 truck. but I think this was the only split rr they got. I haven't seen any others yet. did u stop by their yard? they have an old Autocar 64 that's chasis is a labrie cool hand with a flat tailgate. it's always parked, I've never seen it on route.
