I love seeing cards that have Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl interacting or working together. It shows character and how they are towards each other. I’d love to see like a short anime of them training and fighting together.

I understood why Yugi used them, it's because of his feelings and dependence on Téa, not to mention that he is moving from Atem's shadow since Dark Magician is the master while Dark Magician Girl is the apprentice
In other words the student has surpassed the master and now said student has become a teacher to a new generation of Dark Magicians
Not to mention that Tèa and Mana are childhood friends to Yugi and Atem in other words it's a common thing they both share and made itself into cards

My Favorite card is Dark Magician Girl & for a VERY special reason. That was my mom's favorite duel monster & we always watched Yu-Gi-Oh together & having Dark Magician Girl a lv. 6 monster & my mom's birthday being October 6th couldn't have been a coincidence. My mom passed away 13 years ago so having Dark Magician Girl in a frame with a picture of my mom & myself makes me feel she's still with me, plus I still watch the original Yu-Gi-Oh on her birthday, Mother's Day, & the anniversary of her death in her memory. When I get married I'm going to try & convince my fiancee to have a dark magician & dark magician girl figure in place of a bride & groom so this way it'll be like my mom is at my wedding
