Waqf Protests In Murshidabad Kills 3, Central Forces Deployed

Protests that began in the wake of Parliament passing the Waqf (Amendment) Bill spiralled into violence in West Bengal’s Murshidabad, where three people were killed, 15 police personnel injured, and 118 arrests made.The Calcutta High Court, meanwhile, ordered that central forces be deployed in Murshidabad until Thursday.

These people claiming a nationwide law is not to be applied in this state, is waqf under state list or concurrent list?
If not does the Bengal government have any legal standpoint to say that they won’t implement it in Bengal?

Also being in power for so long, doesn’t the ruling government have any idea that allowing certain people to carry on attack on public buses in Kolkata and private buses being attacked on national highways set a precedent? yet those perpetrators are not being touched and caught? This is a blatantly showing of the fact that perpetrators will not be affected and have political and governmental backing. This gave them courage to cause such an incidence in Murshidabad.
This is not to be taken as a lone incident.

WAQF Bill was not for muslim this bill was brought so that the majority muslim state west Bengal as well as other cities come out protesting and the govt will make it worst in the name of security.
