Back in Sri Lanka this happened with Tamil Tiger groups. I recall Tamil friends saying how hard it was for them in the northern parts of the country during recessions and they had no idea is was the same or worse in suburban main cities too. Tigers got hold of the situation and divided the people between Sinhala and Tamil and started bullying Tamil women and children who were neutral. It all ended up in a bloody war and not the best way one would wish for. It was quite harmonious prior to all these mess and is also now. Just need to be watchful of the separatists in hard times. However it doesn’t mean one should not speak up. But speaking up has to be constructive and forward thinking as a whole. Because we have just one earth! Elon Musk just said that it’s a small light (Earth) in the massive dark universe and we should not let it blow away!
