I've discovered if you stay in second and third place before the finish, line the other A.I's will slow down. If you allow them to take direct damage in first place while maintaining second and having multiple items, the grand prix are a breeze to obtain.

Still doesn't change the fact these games exist. It's like the Mario Party games where the latest one is called Mario Party 9, while there are actually a total of about 13 games, Nintendo just doesn't count the handheld titles and some arcade games released only in Japan.

I've found the 3D effect to be really good, just not a must. And I want to add that characters do differ in weight.

It's arguably the best singleplayer MK yet, hopes are high for 8 to take the multiplayer crown.

I'd say my least favorite weapons SINCE THE WII would be the blue shell and the ink squid.

@transformersloverjon As a 3DS and Wii owner, these are definitely not better, I'm not even sure they're equal. They seem to be somewhere in between Gamecube and Wii. Also, if you're basing this off Mario Kart Wii, that game didn't really take advantage of the Wii's potential at all, so of course it'd be easy for Mario Kart 7 to look just as good.
