Working the Urban Farm & Developing My Online Career Change

In this video, I demonstrate some of the tasks I do on our urban farming acreage. At the same time, I touch on our move into self-sufficiency, growing food, fruit & veg, having one parent at home, and my hopes for a career in content creation primarily about how this lifestyle is possible. Self Sufficient Me is based on our small 3-acre property/homestead in SE Queensland Australia about 45kms north of Brisbane - the climate is subtropical (similar to Florida). I started SSM in 2011 as a blog website project where I document and write about backyard food growing, self-sufficiency, and urban farming in general. Have you considered incorporating live streams? You wouldn't have the post production polish, but going live is pretty quick and easy nowadays. If you were to go live at night showing off those gorgeous dragon fruit blossoms for example, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who'd really enjoy that (it would be daytime here LOL). Cheers!

When your video first started my son was upset and was getting ready to cry. He looks forward to your videos and comes running when there is a new one. Then you finished the video saying you would have more videos next year. He was jumping up and down so excited and happy. Thanks for your amazing videos.
