Показать описание
In this final episode discussing some of the key themes of Homer's Iliad, we look at the way in which death is represented. We relate it to the notion of heroism and glory, but also to the notion of wrath which appears to be Homer's main theme. How does Achilles' glory relate to his attitude to death, and furthermore to the death of his enemy Hector? How does the treatment of the dead body reflect Homeric conceptions of virtue and honour?
