Great Video Dean.... love the way you start by drilling the hole for the chuck then making the recess for the other chuck on the bottom... Great Technique to add to my tool kit... Thanks a bunch

Great idea. I have a friend that paints. I’m going to ask if she wants to collaborate. Hats off to your wife’s painting skills. Thank you as always.

Lol. Usually when I make a plate. It's because I goofed up a bowl. And then turn it into a plate. I do need to make some tho. I'd like to have a few for steaks.
Great project Dean. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. A very nice project. Got to have some of them. Did I miss the thickness measurement? What size jaws did you use on the bottom. And if you don't mind could you give me the link to those sanding disc that you used. Thanks again always look forward to your videos. Be safe

Hello Dean! Fixing to make some dinner plates. Just curious, what exactly did the walnut oil do when you said you've only had to oil it once in 3 years??

Hey Dean, Nice job! You used a 1 inch by 8 inch piece if I understand your comments below correctly? With my PSI Barracuda 2 chuck I would have to go a bit thicker because it doesn't have dovetails. I need 7/16's for both tenons and recesses because of that chuck. Still the Barracuda 2 works well for the money all and all. I like the idea of eating off a plate I made myself. :) Yall have a wonderful day.

Nicely done Dean. The plate looks really good. How thick is that blank to begin with? Looks like maybe 5/4. Or is it Norman 1x?
