take notice lads. always make sure the tip of your pipe is clean before inserting it into the fitting

You can install it on soft pipes, just be sure that they are round, and have a stiffening sleeve inside it. Works fine every time

And, if the female fitting isn't clean and servicable, the male fitting will have future issues that require alot of money to remedy. Keep all tips, and "fittings" clean.

Hard copper is tempered soft copper isn't you can make hard copper soft copper with heat
