step1: put your curser the top of page one and then go into page set up and make the margins what you want for your first page
step2. place your curse on the last word in the first page and go to margins again and make the margins what you need for your body pages, except this time you go to the bottom left and choose the option that says whole document and change it to this point on(page 2, 3, 4...)

While inserting the different margin settings "from this point forward" works well for your tutorial, in real use this method is not practical. If add a few lines of text to the first page it will push that text to the next page and totally mess up your document. What is the solution if you always want the first page to have that extra space at the top (to allow for a preprinted letterhead page) regardless of the text? It seems cumbersome to have to add that margin setting for each letter you have to type.

How can i solve my problem: I want to have fixed margins for first few pages on document and then from some page on mirrored margins. When i tried 'for this section only' or 'from this point on' it applies for whole document.

I copied 20 pages from one ms word book and pasted to new ms word book, footer of last three four pages were not visible or half visible half not visible, i tried to adjust with footer margin but in vein, Is there any section or page break or something else .please solve this problem. Thanks
