Just as a side note, historically corsets were NOT the torture devices that the modern media loves to trope on. They were a functional support item that was no worse than the modern bra (better, actually, according to the people who have tested them!). Basically they were support wear. It would be laced snuggly, but not uncomfortably. The trick was, they had to be (and still have to be) made to fit the individual. A badly fitting corset would, of course not be terribly comfortable, but one made for you would be fine. Women worked, rode, hiked, and did all manner of physical activity while wearing their corsets and did just fine. Were there the ones that tight-laced and squashed their organs? Sure. But there are now days, as well. But those are definitely the exception. . .NOT the norm.

Just. . .figured I"d put that out there. So annoying to see the trope spread like fact. People who do living history are better sources than modern sensationalist media.

Sam, please don’t drink too many of those energy shots! My dad used them and got very sick, he went to the hospital and they told him his liver was poisoned. He was totally fine before using them he has since stopped and is fine now (he didn’t die woohoo)
