But here's the sitch guys: None of my friends would have a conversation with me unless I text first. But I don't wanna be annoying so I don't text at all, as much as i want to. so I just wait. I always think to myself "If they wanna text, me they will do it first" Girl nah. they never do. And I am not allowed social media (i need to focus on school) so I literally have no connection with anyone apart from school. FAN. TASTIC.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the number of people whose concept of friendship does NOT include reciprocity by way of initiating communication (texting/calling/messaging). Based on my experience, any attempts at friendship with these types of people inevitably lead to one-sided "friendships." It truly is best to eliminate these people from your lives as early as possible. The discouraging thing, however, is not that these people exist, but that they seem to be a majority. About 90% of the friendships I attempt with people end up, if they don't already begin, as one-sided "friendships."

I can relate to you 100%, No one ever bothers to reach out to me, call or text, unless I am the one reaching out in the 1st place, it's such BS. I have pretty much all but quit at this point, sick of their crap and fake BS.

This spoke to me on a spiritual level. I literally just sit at my house and convince myself that none of my friends want to hang out with me because none of them reach out and try to make plans with me or don't text me back about hanging out. I spent two days in bed the other day because I thought all of my friends hated me and didn't want to see me. But whenever I do hang out with them I realize that I'm stupid to think that.

Yeah, I love it when people text me first, because if I have to text them first, it takes me almost 5 minutes to work up the courage to even send that text because my anxiety is going through my head. I don't want to bother them, but I really need to talk to someone and I like talking to them. I have to talk to them because otherwise I'm alone and then my head goes to very dark places.
