I am grateful for the cute little stories even if I'm not ready to understand them still at the very beginning of learning Russian. One of the key elements on which I'm initially focusing is listening with clear annunciation. Still learning sounds and basic words, many other "teachers" may do single words or sayings but speak them at normal speed which makes it difficult to learn since so most of the sounds are very different entirely or different in combination. In addition to English subtitles, I believe it would actually also be very helpful to have some videos if possible in both Russian AND English subtitles.
