I really like the fairy not being glued right to the glass. To me it looks a lot more real if I can say that for those who don't believe in fairies. I don't think if you actually caught a fairy she would be pushing herself right up to the glass. The "oops" of the glue not sticking, was a brilliant idea.

If it gets wet the epsom salt will wash away modge podge or not

Hi-I ordered mason jar lid solar lights from Amazon for mine; they come with a hanger and go inside the screw-on band. They're supposed to be waterproof, and you don't have to fool with batteries!
