We can't expect Araújo to be absolutely 100% and in peak form like it was 2022 or 2023 again. And the same applies to De Jong, Gavi and Christensen and especially to Ansu Fati. After those injuries and long recovery periods it takes time to be both physically fit and mentally focused, all at 100%. They're professional athletes but still human, not machines.
I think Araújo, Christensen, De Jong and Gavi will make a positive contribution but I'm more excited about next summer because if Araújo, Christensen and De Jong have decent enough performances and stay clear of injuries, they could be sold for a pretty penny. Gavi isn't going anywhere and Ansu has had too many injuries and too little stability to be of use at all and I doubt we can get for him anything, just loaning him out without any purchase obligation and hope for the best.
