Using complementary angles to find the value of both angles

👉 Learn how to find the value of an unknown variable in the expressions representing the values of angles given the relationship between the angles. When given expressions representing the values of angles and the relationship between the angle, we make use of the relationship to solve the given expression and thus find the unknown variable.

For instance, when given two expressions representing the values of two complementary angles, we add up the two expressions and equate the sum to 90 degrees, we can then solve and obtain the value of the unknown variable. Similarly, when given two expressions representing the values of two supplementary angles, we add up the two expressions and equate the sum to 180 degrees, we can then solve and obtain the value of the unknown variable.

Is it possible to find each angles sum without having any information except the measurement of the adjacent side of a triangle and knowing they both add up to 90 Ultimately?
