How am I just now finding this channel? Such a relief from all the other camera reviews that only zoom-in to brick walls at 500%, haha. His personality is also so genuine. Getting tired of all these people who yell at the camera and only film B-roll of coffee. Amazing first impressions video, man!!

Finally a professional filmmaker pointing out the R6. Been keen on this camera since the rumours but started to really doubt it after the overheating speculation. Want to buy it as my main cinema camera. Going to test it soon from my local renting store!

With the new V1.1 firmware update my R5 has yet to overheat, loving it so far. Also not sure what lens you used for the wide but they fixed the wobble, you may need to update the firmware on the lens too.

OMG thank you so much for making this video, I've been wanting someone to talk about the R6 performance and all that after the update and everyone is focused on the R5.... Like y'all gotta remember your roots, the people who can't afford all that just yet!

Guys like YCimaging make this camera look like a cinematic beast!
Then you get guys like Camera Conspiracies who makes R5 and R6 footage look like Gopro quality with the autofocus abilities of a GH5.

Been waiting for a good R6 video. Everyone is talking about the 5 but this is the camera that interests me more for its lower price and still good video quality

See...like I mentioned in my video, give it some time and all the negative talking points about this camera will eventually shift to non-issue or fixed issues. In a year from now, when youtubers post their “R5 after 1yr” review, we’ll have similar praise that the EOS R is currently getting. Give these cameras time to grow into your workflow. I got my r6 yesterday ( eos R previously ) and it’s freaking BEAST!!! Low light ! Autofocus ! 10bit 4:2:2 - shadows and highlight recovery in post is freaking crazy!!! IBIS is amazing even with tamron lenses !! I think that I’m going to stop using my BMPCC 4K any more !!
Ps 1080 IPB looks crazy ... And I don’t know how....
