Mizzou Football through the Decades: Ken Downing

It was a special week at the Tiger Club of Kansas City, as five former football Tigers spoke on Mizzou Football through the decades. The panel included Phil Snowden, Nip Weisenfels, Ken Downing, Bobby Bell Jr and Martin Rucker.
Aurora’s own Ken Downing graduated from Mizzou in 1976. The Safety earned Coach’s All-American honors while playing for Al Onofrio. He was drafted by Hank Stram and the New Orleans Saints and also played for the Chicago Bears. Later, in the Canadian Football League, he played for the Ottawa Rough Riders and the British Columbia Lions.
Dr. Downing is a 1986 graduate of Cleveland College of Chiropractic in KC. He practices at Westwood Chiropractic on the Kansas side of the state line.
The Club holds weekly luncheons on Tuesdays during the school year.
