Tip For Converting Stereo Sounds To Mono In FL Studio

In this tutorial I show you how you can turn a stereo sound to mono by isolating either the left or right track. In some cases, this technique will result in a much better sound than merging to mono would, but other times it won't. Always do what sounds best.

Here in 2024 JUST NOW learning this trick.. I make melodic bass and constantly stack super saw chords and leads and would sacrifice width and unison to get rid of "some" of the phase. I just tried this and it works AMAZINGLY!!! I even threw on some hyper dimension after the stereo shaper to bring back the width and it sounds great in both mono and stero. Thank you!!!

For converting stereo to mono, I use a plugin called Monomaker and it's amazing. Sounds just fine.

Great tip bro..love it...💯💯💯The fruity enhancer does the samething too, just turn the stereo separation knob to the right and u get the same results as u mentioned. You can also invert the sound by clicking the left or right button...
