ROCO's Season 15 In Concert series continued Nov. 16th with “Hope for Beauty” - featuring the premiere of Bruce Adolphe’s full chamber orchestra piece "I Too Bleed, and Hope for Beauty," a tribute both to Alma Rose, niece of Gustav Mahler and conductor of the women’s orchestra at Auschwitz, and to the enduring power of music, which, even in the worst circumstances imaginable, offers hope and beauty.

Alastair Willis returned to ROCO as conductor, also leading Manual de Falla's fiery "El Amor Brujo", plus works by Edward Elgar, Giya Kancheli, and the next three commissioned premieres of ROCO's FIFteen Project.

Recorded live November 16th, 2019 at The Church of St. John the Divine, Houston, TX.
