Manuel de Falla - El amor brujo (with Score)

Manuel de Falla (1876–1946) was an Andalusian Spanish composer and pianist. Along with Isaac Albéniz, Francisco Tárrega, and Enrique Granados, he was one of Spain's most important musicians of the first half of the 20th century. This piece, El amor brujo (L'amour sorcier), was commissioned in 1914 as adanced gypsy entertainment, dedicated to the flamenco dancer and cantaora Pastora Imperio. It has several versions, with different movements each. This one is the 1925 version.

Manuel de Falla :It's been SO long since I heard this particular piece. I had a Huge Classical LP collection I had to give up when moving after the death of my Mom. I haven't made a study of this, but in my 20s it seemed to me this composer was the most famous Spanish composer of Orchestral music and without voices. His most famous piece Nights in the Gardens of Spain, is lovely- but hardly the only thing he ever composed
