I recently bought a mint C6 Z06 with 30K miles fully loaded for $40K but I was worried about the heads so I had a shop build the engine all Texas speed parts. It’s over 700 HP which cost $8500. The car is an absolute monster for under $50K. I need to get your rear spoiler.

Love the audit you do to keep your head above water. Lots of us should do this more often and let our separate our hearts from our brains and wallets. To recoup over 4.2k in repurposed parts is sweet. The next owner is getting a gem of a Z06 and still say this is the last generation that looks like a Vette

This definitely TOPS whatever Prince had in mind when he wrote the song,
“Little Red Corvette” “Baby you’re much too fast” and there’s nothing little about this Corvette. Awesome project from a man with skills, dedication, and attention to detail. Also very resourceful in shopping for bargains on parts along with selling as many salvageable parts as possible.

Just discovered you this morning and spent my whole day watching you do the Z06! Spot on, on the color choices. I had a Torch Red, black convertible, black interior, black Z06 wheels Vette. Absolutely loved the combination. You do great job with the cars AND the videos.

23 grand but I dont know how much all that work you did on the car would cost to have someone else do it. Most people cant do what you do, dont have the skill/tools/time. Mid 40s for that car is a great deal I was looking at c6 z06s last year all in the mid 40s and no where near that nice, you did a great job on the paint, not to mention 600hp at the wheels already all the ones I saw in the mid 40s were mostly stock with the junk heads still

Thanks for doing the cost breakdown. Most people shy away from doing that, but I appreciate the honesty and in-depth detail. Despite me most likely (never say never) not ever getting a Corvette or Muscle car for that matter I think a lot of what you do can be applied to anyone's car passion projects/flips. best buy ever. best car . 427ci. Runs stock mid to low 11's. Some bolt-on's and your 10's. Cams, head ... Then if its a bit to much, go with a C5 z06 all day long. Clean ride sounds amazing.
