Hello, I am Elizabeth. I am a physician assistant. I am currently for the nocturnist position at the West Louisville campus. So what a nocturnist physician assistant does is essentially take care and treat patients during the night. What essentially that means is that we assess and watch over patients during outside of regular hours if they're admitted in the hospital. I do my best to try to collaborate with the physicians and the nursing staff to try to create a smooth process for all the patients overnight.

So what I try to do as my philosophy is communication and education. I want the patient to feel empowered and understand their health and their care. I want to treat the patient as a whole instead of just their symptoms. So what I want to do is help them understand and express their concerns and understand their concerns along with empathize with them in order to give them the best care possible. I'm originally from Kingman, Arizona. I attended Arizona State University at Phoenix to get my bachelor's. From here, I moved to get my Master's as a physician assistant. What I like to do for fun is go exploring outdoors, so that involves hiking, horseback riding, sunbathing. Indoors, I love to read novels.
