A few things
If you have a screen password from your parent you need to figure it out first. A trick is to screen record and asked them for more screen time on your phone.

Next if it doesn’t work trust me, go to safari and hit the glasses button next to the clock, go back and forth between them and the clear button will flash every time and you need to hit it in time, once you do it will give you the option to clear all your history.

I turned on unrestricted but I’m under a family and it’s is still greyed out. Is there a work around to it?

If this doesn’t work there’s actually something else you can do!! All you have to do is go to Safari in settings and press profiles, and make a new one! On this profile your search history will be cleared. Of course, you can still go to the original profile and find your search history, but your parents probably won’t even know what profiles are, so you won’t have to worry about that.
