Lake District Virtual Run | Rydal and Grasmere | Treadmill Running Scenery

Join me on a beautiful run through the picturesque Rydal Water and Grasmere, located in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The run takes us through woodland trails, up to Rydal Water and then Rydal Cave, before heading over to Grasmere Lake, and finally back to Rydal via another woodland trail.

Rydal Cave is a large cavern on the north side of Loughrigg Fell, above Rydal Water. This famous lakeland beauty spot is actually man-made, as a result of slate quarrying.

Wonderfull scenery! Alas, the video is not suitable for running on the treadmill. The frequent swivel of the camera and keeping it at an 90 angle causes one to fall off the treadmill. I will add the lake district to my places-to-visit list, though. :)
