Mind Blowing Scenery - Lake District UK Virtual Run - Yewbarrow - Great Gable - Kirk Fell - Bob Graham Round and Wainwrights

Looking for a POV virtual running video or YouTube treadmill virtual running scenery? Why not join The Outdoor POV on a 90 minute Virtual Run recce of the Bob Graham Round Leg 4.

The Bob Graham Round is a 24 hour challenge that takes place in the Lake District National Park. We went the wrong way a few times, but that's what a recce run is for. Another great day on the fells with friends. It was so hot we all ran out of water! Lucky for us we found some fresh running water to fill up our water bottles. Great to tick off a few Wainwrights.

That looks like a nice view. Park city, Utah, USA looks like that but has a little bit more buildings

Cracking run! Well done. Great backing tracks and editing. Nice to have other runners accompanying you. Really wish you'd also edited out the bits where you have others slowing right down in front of you as thats really offputting for viewers on treadmill as it messes up our pace when we instinctively slow down too - shows how good and realistic the video is! [your pace isnt an issue as its easy to look up to the background hills]

So much fine detail of the best BG routes. It's a small point but it's faster to go closer to Black Crag summit. And a bit less straining than having a slanting body on that (admittedly good) path that you used traversing the south side. Probably only a minute or so faster if that. Contrariwise, I liked your right-side traverse down to Black Sail - better than the close-to-the ridge route with some awkward little rocky descents. Black Sail to Kirk Fell wasn't shown fully in the video. Did you use the classic gully route? You seemed to be zigzagging a tiny bit just before Kirk Fell summit. So often I've had to navigate carefully leaving Kirk Fell in thick fog. Nice to be reminded how far on the left-hand side the little tarn should be for the best line. Tough rocks coming off Great Gable - after which Bob Grahamers' spirits are raised "Easy ground from here to the Moot Hall". Beautifully done. And it shows how the monstrous, looming giant of Gable can scare the wits out of a tired Bob Grahamer from Yewbarrow onwards.
