Interesting how that could occur BUT you leave out that when the congress chooses a president they have to pick from the TOP 3 candidates, which means Gary Johnson could win. You keep saying "either" which creates a false dichotomy because there are not only two ballot options in all 50 states, there are 3 options in all 50 states meaning Johnson will be a viable option for congress to pick from if nobody gets "past the post."
