3 Days in Mexico City....
Day 1: La Condesa we stayed along Ave. Vicente Suarez
Breakfast: Tacos Varios, Super Tacos along Ave. Vicente Suarez for 12 pesos each.
Walked to metro station Metro Juanacatlan and headed to Coyoacan. In Coyoacan we checked out:
1. Centenario Garden
2. Parroquia de San Juan
3. Cafe del Barrio Viejo
4. Mercado Coyoacan
Day 1 Night: Lucha Libre
Took Uber to Arena Mexico purchased tickets for 200 pesos at the official stand. Make sure that your tickets say Ticketmaster and buy only from the Taquilla.
Day 2:
1. Walk through La Condesa and head to Parque Mexico
2. Walk to Roma, check out Mercado Roma & local street vendors
3. Walk to Fuente Cibeles
4. Walk to Angel de la Independencia
5. Take a taxi to Barrio Alameda
6. Grab a roof top drink at La Azotea, Barrio Alameda
7. Get lost in Parque Alameda
8. Get lost through Barrio Chino
9. Explore the afternoon spring concert vibe at El Zocalo
Day 3:
1. Take metro Juanacatlan to El Zocalo (don't miss this early morning time)
2. Take metro from El Zocalo (blue line) to Tasqueña and take the Tren Ligero. Tren ligero does not accept metro tickets and it only takes a rail card. There seems to be a shortage so ask if someone can add money onto to theirs for you. For us, the local cop was doing this for everyone.
3. Arrive in Xochimilco and follow the crowds. You can rent your own trajinera (boat) for $500 pesos or you can ride share for $30 pesos per person. If you are not with a big group, then try ride sharing just for the experience.
4. Enjoy the ports, check out the markets the trajineras that are converted into bars, grab a drink and meet some locals.
5. Dinner & music at Ave. Tamaulipas in La Condesa. This is where you'll find all of the local bars and night clubs.
Shout out to the local band playing in Barrio Alameda, I loved your jam and its playing throughout my video. I wish I had a name or link for them...
