the difference between league and brawl stars is, league make 3-4 new characters each year while brawl stars make 12 new characters each year

To be honest in MOBAs there is a huge untapped potential of community made stuff as well. I wish we had community made features like gadgets, hypercharges etc.

If you think about it, Terraria is a huge indie game that is currently recruiting people from the modding community, and The Binding of Isaac even made an entire update based around a huge mod. Even Minecraft hired the dude that made the Aether mod back in the day.

I say this in the nicest way possible, I love it when companies abuse the love and passion their fandom has for their game in a symbiotic/fair way.

The problem with Brawl Star's current model is that each character needs to have a unique mechanic for it to stand out and for people to play it. But, that leads to the problem of running out of ideas and the brawlers being way to OP. I feel like BS should focus on a few overall balance changes or focus more on new game mechanics events or modes. That and BS can make characters slower, which can help make them feel more fine tuned and less like copies of existing brawlers.

2:24 is also justified bc when knockout was released it was planned to be temporary but it was awesome and it was made permanant and they were also adding one brawler per update then

I really hope they start adding one brawler per update 1. So they can make better brawlers that are more unique with kits that are thought out more thoroughly with counters, and stuff
2.with the hypercharges aswell coming out each month it feels impossible to keep up with both hypercharges and characters as they release

If the Brawl Stars devs were going to get rid of levels it would come at the expanse of f2p skin accessability. Instead, they should get rid of it in ranked only, meaning every player would have all of the brawlers they own maxed out while playing ranked, because unlike a game like League, when a character becomes meta you can't just pay the easy to obtain Blue Essence to get it, you need to have the general option to unlock it and enough credits, as well as a sht ton of Gold (which isn't nearly as accessable of a reasorce as Blue Essence) specially if said brawler has a hypercharge (though this system is still LEAGUES above what boxes were). Also, in League, the most efficient startegy in terms of climbing the ranked ladder is being a one trick pony, because of how unique each League champion is from the others (or at least most of them) and the crazy skill ceiling the game has in terms of both macro and micro. You can't really do that in brawl stars, considering the more "simplfied" bralwer design formula and lower skill ceiling overall (I just wanna specify that it's not necceseirly a bad thing, and that Brawl Stars's skill ceiling isn't 'low', it's just that some League champions take YEARS to master and that's not even mentioning the much higher complaxity of the game) so you're basically forced into maining multiple brawlers (kinda like Overwatch but also kinda not) which means that unlike League or other character-bassed games, Brawl Stars takes you some time to get the characters to their strongest point in terms of stats and active\passive abilities, while basically forcing you into maxing multiple characters, which we should all know by know that it's really unhealthy for a ranked mode, considering we're all getting teammates who use level 9 brawlers without a star power, which is something that (unless you're names is Chuck) could make a top meta brawler a D tier one. I'm talking specifically about ranked mode, not Trophy road.

I feel like 1 brawler which is actually creative and takes some skill at least would be better than 2 brawlers, and maybe for an update no brawler but just focus on the current core problems in brawl stars. Too many brawlers added kind of devalues the point of a new brawler itself and currently some brawlers like Lily feel too similar too current brawlers

A really cool modifier in squad busters is baby battle, where everyone is basically level one. I really like this modifier because I can choose my units not by their power but how important they are, also I am not getting overpowered by people with super rage spell and millions of troops just because they have some super good ultra troops. I think this is very good to implement in brawl stars make everyone level one with one gadget and 10% power of a star power, I think that would be very cool

I think that they should start making update cycles - 1 brawler in the first of two updates, 2 in the second. That way, the game wouldn't be dead, but it will be easier to max an account.
