This is kind of genius. I don't how many times I forfeit reading articles to save battery. It's great that they managed to keep the phone thin too. I'd really like to see this catch on.

Clever use of E-ink.  Nice to see that technology being used for something other than e-readers.

Color should be possible with e-ink, at least in the future.  Probably cost prohibitive ATM.

as someone who loves the kindle products but hates how big and annoying to carry around it is (since it wouldn't fit in my pockets :P) I love this idea and I wish that some bigger company (maybe amazon themselves) picked it up and implemented it in a nicer phone. Not that this one looks bad at all. I might actually attempt to buy one anyway.

I won't be switching from my Note, but I would love to see this tech on the back of a cell phone case. Add it to any phone you want then.

I love this idea of e-ink second display. ebook is my second most usage of my phone and I suffer always shortage of battery.

Is it possible to have working navi on the e-ink display? It would be visible in full daylight so might be good for example on motorcycle.

The front display is an AMOLED (a very good one at that, too), not an LCD

That is super cool. I wouldn't ever buy it because of android and I have security issues with that.

im thinking of buying thia phone but i live in ontario canada. from my research to use this device on the fido network you eigther have to use the yd201 wich aparently is only compatible with one tle band and the yd205 is compatible with all lte bands. but most site say they have the yd206 wich they say is the international variant. but when i check into the frequency it uses im told that this variant isnt compatible with any lte bands on the fido network. so my question is, has any one from canada been using this device? if so wich variant?
