US drone: Russian jet 'almost certainly tried to dump fuel over the engine'

The US Air Force has released a video said to show a Russian jet intercepting an American drone and dumping fuel on it over the Black Sea.

Retired air vice-marshal Sean Bell told Sky News the video shows the Russian plane "almost certainly trying to dump fuel over the engine" before it "clips the propeller" as it passes.

Why is there an open hatch on the bottom of the fuselage of the drone.
Why did the drone prop tip bend in the direction of rotation of the prop.
If the prop blade hit something, it would bend in the opposite direction.
