Hi. Thanks for tips. How do you get your canvas, scenes and timeline all so perfectly aligned on your screen? If I work on timeline it makes the canvas very small, if I work on the canvas, I have to get rid of the timeline and the sidebars take up a lot of real estate too.

I am brand new to Descript and still navigating the waters. But the one feature I cannot even believe exists is the eye-contact. You can upload a video where you're not looking at the camera and it adjusts your eyes to look directly AT the camera! Borderline black magic... lol. I tried it and you can't tell it's been edited. Evidently, you can use your own, preferred external camera connected to your PC, as opposed to the PC's internal webcam, because I've never seen such a professional depth of field on any other instructional video... You've earned a subscriber!

I know If I have a laptop that works with a usb mic- but If its just a phone I have to record how can descript improve the quality ? Ms. Meredith, I love your videos and your channel. I am a brand new youtuber just trying to get my self sitiuated. I dont think this particular video is for newbies, or maybe its just me. I love you and your personallity so I watched this video, but it is way over my head. I feel like you can devote a video for each software topic your going over. That way you can share with newbies step by step on how to use the individual programs. I personally can benefit from anything that works for androids and microsoft platforms.
